Substance abuse

Substance abuse is a growing problem in the United States. May teens and adults misuse drugs such as Xanax and Aderol. I believe that in many cases these drugs are given to patients that really do not need them. It is easy to just write a prescription and send the patient on their way. In return these drugs end up being sold on the streets, in schools and very misused by the people taking them. If these substances were regulated more tightly and patients were examined more thoroughly before given the prescription, the drug abuse problem may not be a big.
