Community health nursing coincides with forensic nursing in the area of assessment. Assessment is one of the core functions of the public health system. Forensic nursing requires effective assessment competence. Community and public health assessment refers to systematic data collection on the population, monitoring of the population’s health status, and making available information on the health of the community.
